Patidar Samaj,Village Darshadi (Kutch) celebrated Golden Jubilee-50th anniversary of Sri LaxmiNarayan temple.Param Pujya Sri Swamiji was invited to grace the ceremony.In his अनुग्रहभाषणम् Pujya Sri. Swamiji said Every human heart (1)yearns for Happiness and (2)wants to get rid of all kinds of sorrows-When pray to Bhagawan, the demand list is only of above two things.All pursuits are undertaken with this objective only.
Further we think”If I have more money,more buying power,I can buy more pleasurable objects,I can be free from sorrow/pain and become happier.
This is “MAYA”.
Because,We find,in spite of enourmous wealth and having latest gadgets/objects of pleasure, still many are unhappy/dissatisfied.
In contemporary modern world, many are loaded with luxury.They are not necessarily Happy.
We need two types of happiness.(1) Happiness derived from objects/situations which are buyable. (2) Happiness which is not buyable-such as happiness born out of relationships/Family Joys.
Joys of relationships are more deeper and fulfilling than buyable.While pursuing for Money we should not miss family/relations/societal connections.Param Pujya Sri emphasised on social commitments and joint Family.When we have वसुधैव कटुम्बकम् -we will be the happiest.

પાટીદાર સમાજ, ગામ દર્શડી (કચ્છ) દ્વારા શ્રી લક્ષ્મીનારાયણ મંદિરની 50મી વર્ષગાંઠની સુવર્ણ જયંતિની ઉજવણી કરવામાં આવી. પરમ પૂજ્ય શ્રી સ્વામીજીને સમારોહમાં હાજરી આપવા માટે આમંત્રણ આપવામાં આવ્યું હતું. તેમના અનુગ્રહ ભાષણમાં પૂજ્ય શ્રી. સ્વામીજીએ કહ્યું કે દરેક માનવીનું હૃદય (1)સુખની ઝંખના કરે છે અને (2)તમામ પ્રકારના દુ:ખમાંથી મુક્તિ મેળવવા માંગે છે-જ્યારે ભગવાનને પ્રાર્થના કરવામાં આવે છે, ત્યારે માંગની સૂચિ ફક્ત ઉપરની બે બાબતોની છે. તમામ કાર્યો ફક્ત આ ઉદ્દેશ્ય સાથે હાથ ધરવામાં આવે છે.
આપણે વિચારીએ છીએ કે “જો મારી પાસે વધુ પૈસા છે, વધુ ખરીદવાની શક્તિ છે, તો હું વધુ આનંદદાયક વસ્તુઓ ખરીદી શકું છું તે હું દુ:ખ/પીડાથી મુક્ત થઈ શકું છું અને વધુ સુખી બની શકું છું.
આ “માયા” છે.
કારણ કે, પુષ્કળ સંપત્તિ હોવા છતાં અને નવીનતમ ગેજેટ્સ/આનંદની વસ્તુઓ હોવા છતાં, હજુ પણ ઘણા નાખુશ/અસંતુષ્ટ છે.
સમકાલીન આધુનિક વિશ્વમાં, ઘણા લોકો લક્ઝરીથી ભરેલા છે. તેઓ ખુશ હોય તે જરૂરી નથી.
આપણને બે પ્રકારના સુખની જરૂર છે. (1) ખરીદી શકાય તેવી વસ્તુઓ/પરિસ્થિતિઓમાંથી પ્રાપ્ત થયેલ સુખ. (2) સુખ જે ખરીદી શકાય તેવું નથી – જેમ કે સંબંધો/કૌટુંબિક આનંદમાંથી જન્મેલ સુખ.
સંબંધોની ખુશીઓ ખરીદવાલાયક કરતાં વધુ ઊંડી અને પરિપૂર્ણ હોય છે.પૈસાની શોધ કરતી વખતે આપણે કુટુંબ/સંબંધો/સામાજિક જોડાણોને ચૂકી ન જવું જોઈએ.પરમ પૂજ્ય શ્રીએ સામાજિક પ્રતિબદ્ધતાઓ અને સંયુક્ત કુટુંબ પર ભાર મૂક્યો.જ્યારે આપણી પાસે વસુધૈવ कटुम्बकम् ના વિચારને અમલમાં મુકશુ ત્યારે આપણે સૌથી વધુ ખુશ હોઈશું.
